The Local Life List is a slow, independent guide to Medway — built around everyday places, thoughtful details, and local texture. Submissions help us keep the list alive and accurate.
What you can send
- A café, pub, restaurant, shop, or small venue
- A walk, viewpoint, landscape spot, or small local experience
- A neighbourhood idea (a street, pocket, or cluster)
- A correction or update to something already on the site
For owners and makers
If you run a place — or make something locally — you can also be considered for a longer-form story (a calm, editorial feature or interview / Q&A). Send the essentials and we’ll take it from there.
How to submit
Email is best (so details don’t get lost). Include:
- Name of the place
- Area / neighbourhood
- Website or Instagram (if available)
- A short note on what it is and why it belongs
